When I started reading the book, I imminently liked the book. The english in the book is not very difficult, that why I liked this book. If a book has very difficult english I don’t like it, because I have to search a lot of words on translate. I also liked the storyline of the book. The book started with a nice story causing you wanna read further. You want to know how it ends. 

The book is about a girl who named Mei. She worked in a shoe store. Her hobby is to run and her dream is to participate in the Olympics. On a day she was running next to the river. She saw a little boy falling in het the water. He fell from a rock. His mother was screaming because the boy couldn’t swim. Mei jumped in the water and saved the boy. The mother and the boy went to the hospital. A few days later the mother told on TV that she wanted to find the girl who had rescued her son. The next day on her work was there a tv producer. He wanted to interview Mei, she didn’t want that first. She was talking with the producer and she said that it was her dream to participate on the Olympics. He told her that he was an successful businessman and he maybe want to sponsor her. Would she have a sponsor and would she participate in the Olympics ever?

The main person in the book is Mei Nguyen. It is a Vietnamese girl living in Vancouver. Her dream is to participate in the Olympics, Mr Santini is Mei’s boss in the shoe store, The Mannings are the family of the boy who Mei saved and Mike Murray is a tv producer who wanted to help Mei with her dream. The person who wrote is book is Elaine O’Really. The first edition of the book was in 2002. The theme of the book is that we al have dreams, who makes us happy. But there are also things that make us happy where we don't think about.

I think this book is a good book for people who start reading English books. The book has almost no difficult words, thats why I liked the book. The only thing that I didn’t like of the book was the end, but otherwise the book was very nice to read, because there are a lot of things that are happening in the book
